A new account gets a kyc_challenge instead of a token. Verify your identity first, then log in again.

Verify your identity

Open the returned url in a browser and complete the flow. GET /auth/kyc reports approved once Persona decides. That usually takes seconds. Log in again and keep the returned token. The remaining steps send it as a bearer token. The console does this step on first sign-in.

Mint an API key (for programmatic trading)

Get a deposit address and fund it

chain is Polygon or Base. Deposits are credited after confirmation; check with GET /custody/get-usdc-balance.

Amounts are in the asset’s native units (USDC has 6 decimals; outcome tokens have none). Market makers quote the request; poll GET /rfq/quote?request_id=... or subscribe to the RFQ websocket, then accept with POST /rfq/accept. See RFQ.
